From Rust to Ash v1.0.3 - Bugfixing


At some point during development of the early closed demo, I caught wind of a specific bug that I fixed then. It allowed items to be placed outside of the game inventory and still activate during combat. This error led into a corruption of the save file that made it impossible to re-run the program right after. Problem is, I only fixed the error and not the corruption. 

At some point after release, there was report of a similar bug but there was no clear sign of what was causing it. I caught it on the code and managed to reproduce it constantly. I have managed to fix it but as a countermeasure in case it props back up, I have also added a error avoidance that ignores corrupted safe files, in case the problem arises again in a different shape.
